Drug Policy and Human Rights Research Area

Addressing complex global challenges, and strengthening multilateral governance, the Shattuck Center for Human Rights at the Department of Public Policy, Central European University (CEU), is expanding its research scope and zooms in on international drug policy governance. Building on our recent work analyzing security policy innovations in Ukraine, and following events held at CEU, this initiative focuses on the role of evidence-based to examine how drug policy intersects with sustainable development, public health, and human rights obligations under UN treaties.
