DPP PhD Graduate, Sara Svensson Publishes Article on Cross-Border Cooperation in Central and Eastern Europe

Sara Svensson, who recently graduated from the Public Policy track of the CEU PhD Program in Political Science, has published an article in Journal of Borderlands Studies co-authored with PhD candidate Gergo Medve-Balint.

The article is entitled Diversity and Development: Policy Enterpreneurship of Euroregional Initiatives in Central and Eastern Europe, and is based on the authors' empirical research at the Hungarian-Slovak border. The collaboration has previously resulted in a book chapter in the prestigious Ashgate series on Border Studies and in 2011, their research won the Pálfi István Award granted by the Central European Service for Cross-Border Initiatives and the Pálfi István Foundation.
