MA in Public Policy Application Requirements

Applying to the one-year MA in Public Policy (MAPP) program requires fulfilling the CEU Admission Requirements. Please check the application check list.

Below is the list of the documents you need to prepare for applying to CEU's master's and doctoral programs, as well as the link to the CEU Online Application Form:

  1. Academic Writing Submission(s)
  2. Letters of Recommendation
  3. Academic Records
  4. Curriculum Vitae or Resume
  5. Proof of English Proficiency
  6. Completed CEU Application Form

The Academic Writing submission on the one-year MAPP program is a 500-word statement of purpose that highlights relevant experience and explains reasons for applying to the program. Please also mention and justify your preferred specialization if applicable. If you have multiple pages to your document, please include them within one file to upload. You will not be allowed to upload multiple files per required document.

About the departmental admission procedure: applications to the program are screened and ranked by DPP faculty using a set of criteria (i.e. academic quality of prior university, applicant’s prior academic performance and grades, professional background, quality of statement of purpose). Work experience is not an eligibility requirement but candidates with relevant work experience will be given preference in selection of students for admission. Students selection steers towards those with previous degrees in the social sciences, but in the case of exceptional candidates with a science background, such candidates can also be selected.
