DPP Professor Martin Kahanec published a co-authored study (with Martin Guzi and Lucia Mýtna Kureková) on how institutions shape immigrant-native labor market gaps in Europe in Migration Studies, Oxford University Press.
CEU alumna Zóra Molnár (SPP ’17, Hungary) was named to the Obama Foundation Leaders: Europe program for her work advocating for persons with disabilities.
Zóra is project manager at Jamba Hungary Foundation, which provides training, career opportunities and other services for people with disabilities. She has also worked as a community organizer, focusing on housing and public transportation access for people with disabilities – including a 2018 drive to improve wheelchair accessibility in the Budapest metro, among other initiatives.
The Department of Public Policy has been awarded three Open Society University Network (OSUN) and a The European University of Social Sciences – CIVICA projects recently.
DSPS PhD student Dominik Brenner and DPP assistant professor Mihály Fazekas have published a new article in the prestigious academic journal Governance on the impact of impact assessments, that is a structured accounting of the costs and benefits of proposed new legislation, taking into account a diversity of stakeholder views.
