Why has Colombia been the stage of armed conflict for over 50 years? How have citizens coped with the violence? The documentary No Hubo Tiempo Para la Tristeza (No Time for Sadness) considers these questions and takes a look at the National Historical Memory Center report "Basta ya Colombia. Memorias de guerra y dignidad." (That's enough, Colombia. Memories of war and dignity.)

A post-film discussion will be moderated by Andrei Gomez-Suarez, an associate researcher at the Centre for Criminology (Oxford) and lecturer on transitional justice at The University of Los Andes (Bogota).
