Assistant Professor Cameran Ashraf was appointed by the German Government to the Council of Experts for the International Freedom of Religion or Belief Alliance (IRFBA).  IRFBA is a network of 38 states which brings together senior government representatives to discuss actions their nations can take together to promote respect for freedom of religion or belief and protect members of religious minority groups worldwide.  Professor Ashraf's appointment reflects both his longstanding academic work and policy advisement on freedom of religion or belief and artificial intelligence.  Together with Professor Andrea Pin of the University of Padova, professor Ashraf's first recommendations are available on the IRFBA website.
