CEU Moves up in the 2022 QS World University Rankings in DPP's subject areas

According to the 2022 QS World University Rankings by Subject, two CEU programs rank amongst the top 50 worldwide, with a further 3 in the top 100.

CEU President and Rector Shalini Randeria said, "Our rankings in Politics & International Studies and Philosophy continue to climb. I was also particularly pleased to see that we are now also ranked in Anthropology."

In Politics and International Studies, CEU rose in the QS rankings, from 25 to 24, and in Philosophy from 35 to 33.

CEU also ranks in the top 100 in Sociology, History, and Social Policy and Administration. Anthropology is ranked for the first time in the top 140 programs, Law is in the top 150, Economics and Econometrics is amongst the world’s top 200, Psychology is in the top 300, and Business & Management Studies is in the top 450.

Rector Randeria added: "These improved rankings underscore the commitment by our faculty towards ensuring that CEU is one of the finest universities in the world."

The QS World University Rankings by Subject evaluate universities offering undergraduate and/or taught graduate programs, exceed minimum academic and employer reputation scores, and publish a minimum number of papers based on discipline. 51 subjects are ranked at universities across the globe.
