Students from DPP and Partner Institutions Present OSUN GLOBALED Project Recommendations to Amnesty International, UNICEF and Other Partners
The first cohort of OSUN students enrolled in the OSUN GLOBALED certificate program, hosted at the Department of Public Policy of CEU, completed their Practicum projects. Student teams presented their findings and recommendations to an audience of OSUN faculty mentors and client representatives at an online conference held on March 28, 2022.
Educational Development in Practice (Practicum) is a mandatory, graduate-level course of the OSUN GLOBALED certificate program. In the context of this course, OSUN students worked in campus-based teams of 2-5, contributing to the work of various development and private sector organizations over a focused period of 12 weeks (January-March 2022).
The student teams worked on developing reports for Amnesty International Hungary, BRAC Institute of Educational Development, EHU’s University Without Borders platform, and UNICEF Afghanistan as external clients. OSUN faculty members from the American University of Central Asia (Tamo Chattopadhay), BRAC University (Nafisa Anwar, Ashfi Menaz, Mamunur Rashid), CEU (Kata Orosz), and the European Humanities University (Natalia Mikhailova) mentored student teams. The OSUN Science Shop hosted at CEU provided support for a field trip.
OSUN funding to the GLOBALED project is gratefully acknowledged.
