Andreas Goldthau presents lessons on good governance in shale gas development at World Bank Learning Symposium, Washington DC

DPP's Andreas Goldthau presented at a World Bank on the lessons learned from Bulgaria's ban on shale gas, and how to improve governance in the unconventional gas sector in Central Eastern Europe. The presentation drew on a paper jontly authored with Mike Labelle of CEU Business School. It was held at the Bank's Learning Symposium on "Governance of Unconventional Gas: Exploring How to Deliver Transparent Benefits in Non-OECD Countries" which took place on 02-03 June in Washington DC. The symposium brough together stakeholders from the private and public sectors, multilateral lending organizations, civil society and academia.
