DPP faculty member Kristina Irion speaks at regional conference of the Council of Europe

DPP faculty member Kristina Irion speaks at the regional conference about the independence of media regulatory bodies in the Western Balkans organized by the Council of Europe. She introduces the results of the INDIREG study that help to assess the formal and actual independence of regulatory bodies in the media sector. The two days event taking place in Tirana signifies the renewed efforts of the international community to promote best practices in the countries of the Western Balkans. Kristina Irion is also the scientific advisor to a research project studying the development of independent and functional media institutions in this region in the presence of international media assistance.
