On October 18th and 19th 2012 the CEU Department of Public Policy hosted a Case Study Integrity Forum for the GR:EEN research project (Global re-ordering: Evolution through European Networks). The GR:EEN project, funded by an FP7 grant of the European Commission, involves 16 universities from across the world and explores and examines Europe’s role in the emerging global order. Designed as a series of interactive events that involve practitioners in the GR:EEN process from the very beginning, the CSIF represents an innovative method for dissemination of research results and outreach beyond academia. Speakers from CEU, Warwick University, the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI), ULB presented papers on the EU and multi-polarity within the fields of human rights and security, energy, resources and environment, trade and finance. The papers were discussed by invited experts from the policy community and business, including Vertis, MOL, EER, the Regulatory Policy Institute, in addition to academics from Beijing University and Richmond University.
