Kahanec and Kurekova (both DPP) testify before the Advisory Committee on Free Movement of Workers of the European Commission

Martin Kahanec and Lucia Kurekova, both from CEU's Public Policy Department, testified as invited experts before the "Advisory Committee on Free Movement of Workers" of the European Commission, Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion DG, on the impact of labour mobility following European Union’s 2004 and 2007 Eastern enlargements on the sending countries. The Advisory Committee comprises representations of Member States' national administrations, trade unions, and corporate bodies such as employers' associations. Its mission is to assist the European Commission in the preparation of legislation or in policy definition. The meeting took place in Brussels on October 30th, 2012.
