Four public policy students graduated from CEU in June 2015 with more than just their diplomas. They left also with Outstanding Academic Achievement Awards. Each year, CEU bestows these prestigious awards to graduating master's students from every department and school who have earned the highest GPA (grade point average). The four public policy students who were recognized for academic excellence in June 2015 were: Dustin Biero (MPA ’15), Lena Jacobs (MA ’15), Robert Papp (MPA ’15), and Myles Stiffler (MA ’15).
One Passion Project team celebrated UNHCR’s World Refugee Day on June 21 by participating in the Greek Forum of Refugees (GFR) “Europe: Protection or Exclusion” event.
“The graduation ceremony was one of the highlights of the CEU experience,” said Rumbidzai Masango (MPA ’15). “It was touching and special for me and my colleagues. After two years of hard work and persistence, we made it!” June 21, 2015 was also special for the School of Public Policy (SPP) at CEU: the graduation of its inaugural class. “It was truly a milestone for SPP,” said Founding Dean Wolfgang Reinicke. “I am so proud of our students – and also of our faculty and staff. So many people contributed to this achievement.”
