Pal is the Administrative Coordinator for the Erasmus Mundus Masters Program in Public Policy, Mundus MAPP, and a Departmental Coordinator at the Department of Public Policy. As an Administrative Coordinator he is responsible for Consortium/Program management, program planning, cross-consortium administrative and financial coordination - including proposing, implementing and monitoring administrative procedures. He is also responsible for joint recruitment and admissions - including devising and implementing recruitment strategy for the Program. Pal's tasks also include liasing with and reporting on financial and other matters to the European Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).

He earned a Primary School Teacher BA and an MA in Political Science (CEU). Prior to DPP he worked as a Research Coordinator at the Center for European Union Research (CEUR) and a Primary School Teacher at Fodros Primary School in Budapest. He worked as an Accounts Payable Analyst and as a Legal Assistant (Open Society Foundations). In 2017, Pal was granted the 'Open Society Public Health Community Youth Fellowship', in which he was responsible for full-cycle Project Management of his community organizing project, including strategic planning, operational planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting.

Pal wrote his MA thesis in the topic of school segregation of Roma students in Hungary. He has a special interest in education policy - with a focus on educational inequalities.
