Marton Leiszen studied Public Administration and Communication at Roskilde University in Denmark. His research interest is to explore the institutional characteristic of aid coordination structures available for donor cooperation. He started as an intern with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in the Papua New Guinea Country Office, where he was involved with internal and external communication and change management processes. From 2011, he worked as a consultant with the UNFPA Procurement Service Branch in Copenhagen, Denmark. He was mainly involved with Quality Assurance of reproductive health commodities. In 2012 Marton joined CEU as a visiting research fellow at the Center for Policy Studies where he was working on Aid for Trade and the role of trade regimens in development. Marton also worked at the Department of Public Policy as a Policy Lab coordinator. In 2014 he moved to Copenhagen, Denmark where he was involved with fundraising and grant applications as a research assistant with the University of Copenhagen.
