Marek Dabrowski is a Non-Resident Fellow at Bruegel, Brussels, Professor at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, and Co-founder and Fellow at CASE – Center for Social and Economic Research in Warsaw. He was the First Deputy Minister of Finance of Poland (1989-1990) and a Member of the Monetary Policy Council of the National Bank of Poland (1998-2004). He has also been involved in policy advising and research in several countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, the Middle East, and Africa. He was a Fellow under the 2014-2015 Fellowship Initiative of the European Commission – DG ECFIN. He is a member of the Academia Europaea and the author of more than 300 international publications analysing, among others, the transition in Russia and other emerging market economies.
